Professor Khodadad Khan – When the memory becomes a treasure

In the memory of Late Professor and eminent Mathematician A F M Khodadad Khan, a “remembrance and tribute” session was held at IUB Campus in Bashundhara, Dhaka on Tuesday 16 August 2016. The Department of Physical Sciences of IUB organized the session.

Professor Khodadad Khan, after his retirement from the University of Dhaka, joined IUB in 2002 and worked here till the last day of his splendid professional career.
Prof M Omar Rahman, Vice Chancellor, IUB attended the session and spoke on the versatile and accomplished life of Prof Khodadad Khan.

Among others, Prof Mohammed Anwer, Prof Farruk Ahmed and Dr Rifat Ara Rouf from IUB and Prof Anwer and Dr Chandra Nath Podder of Dhaka University and Prof Shahidul Islam from Bangladesh Mathematical Society spoke on the occasion. The speakers highlighted all aspects of achievements Professor Khan seized in his life and recognized him as a complete institution.
