Orientation and Farewell, Autumn 2022

Following the Covid-19 epidemic, the Department of Physical Sciences (DPS) at IUB convened their orientation on September 29, 2022. Prof. Dr. Yusuf Mahbubul Islam, the dean of the school of engineering, science, and technology, officially launched the program. Dr. Mostafa Kamal, the department chair, and Dr. Mohammad Anwer also addressed the freshmen with a few words. All of DPS’s faculty members, existing students, and the freshers took part in the orientation as well.

The department’s faculties and alumni gave the freshmen a warm welcome and shared some motivational quotes with them.

Three of the department’s graduates received a memento of gratitude during their goodbye session in addition to the orientation.

The program was energized by the cultural program performed by both the faculty and the students.
